THE PRACTICE

Early morning is a potent time for cultivating mindfulness. The rising morning light, the rhythm of the ocean, the vastness of the horizon, and gathering in community invite healing and inspiration.

Walking meditation is an ancient practice that invites us to move with awareness, one step at a time. Rooted in Buddhist tradition, it transforms something as ordinary as walking into a way of attuning to breath, body, and the rhythms of the earth. On the beach, the sound of the waves and the feel of the sand naturally draw us into presence, making each step a chance to experience clarity, ease, and connection.

We’ll begin by setting a simple intention, then walk silently together along the shore as the sun rises. The walk lasts about 30 minutes, with space afterward for sharing reflections.

Where & When

Every 4th Saturday of the month at Crystal Pier: Google Pin
We’ll meet 20 minutes before sunrise. (Exact times shift slightly each month).
Street parking is free before 8 AM. Please arrive a little early to settle in.

Bring

Comfortable shoes (or bare feet), a warm beverage, anyone you’d like to share the morning with, and a towel and warm clothes if you want to polar plunge with me afterward!
