Unplug & reconnect
It’s harder than ever to be purposeful with our attention. The noise, the pace, the constant pull from so many different directions… it all fragments our focus and leaves us feeling stretched thin.
This retreat invites you to step out of that cycle in a sustained way.
WE put the DEVICES away, RETURN TO THE PACE OF NATURE, and feel OUR liVES more deeply.
Sense Within
Saturate your being in nature and call on yoga and embodiment practices to connect to your own internal wisdom and reflect on questions like:
To what do I give my attention? How would I like to manage my energy more wisely?
What might I be ready to shed? What might I be ready to consciously cultivate?
What are my values? What do I envision for my life, for my community, and for the world?
GATHER IN COMMUNITY
These are intimate, small group retreats, where sharing time together through practice, meals, casual moments, and time around the campfire offer genuine connection, and remind us of our humanity.
We are not meant to walk this path alone. Here, your full self is welcomed.
in community, we remember we are more alike than we are different.

Split Rock Farm & Retreat
Fallbrook, CA
Our cozy retreat home is Split Rock Valley, a private corner of a stunning 100-acre off-grid property northeast of San Diego. Nestled in nature, Split Rock offers space for healing, connection, and stillness, with sweeping views of Big Bear and even the Pacific on clear days.
Upper Split Rock features four spacious glamping tents, two flushing toilets, and two showers. Down in the valley, you’ll find our communal practice and dining areas nestled in under ancient oak trees and huge boulders, plus three cozy bell tents. A short walk away, you’ll find an additional restroom and shower.
Farm animals roam freely, and you're welcome to explore the land during downtime. In late October, expect highs around 80°F, lows near 55°F, sunrise at 7am and sunset around 6pm.
your GLAMPING experience
LUXURY GEODESIC DOME
These luminous sanctuaries offer a divinely refined glamping experience. Ideal for couples seeking a special weekend away together or for individuals longing to feel deeply held and inspired, the domes are where nature immersion and comfort meet. A luxurious queen-size bed, cozy lounge seating, and a tucked-away outdoor sitting area create space for genuine rest and quiet reflection. Thoughtfully equipped with solar-powered electricity, heating, and cooling, the domes offer ease without sacrificing intimacy with the surrounding landscape.
LUXURY SAFARI TENT
These spacious platform tents offer a beautiful balance of simplicity and comfort. Ideal for a couple or individual who appreciates a little extra room to breathe, each tent features a luxurious queen-size bed, inviting lounge seating, and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Rooted in nature and intentionally uncluttered, these accommodations invite you to slow down, settle in, and enjoy the quiet ease of camping in a private setting that supports a restful night's sleep. For two friends sharing, the safari tents can be configured with an additional twin bed.
SHARED OR SOLO BELL TENT
Our bell tents offer a nurturing nest, embracing the beauty of simple living. Configured as either a private solo experience on a twin bed frame, or sleepover style with two twin mattresses, the bell tents create an opportunity to connect with nature, with others, and with yourself, while enjoying all the care, nourishment, and transformative experiences of the weekend. Tucked in amongst the trees and boulders, each bell tent features comfortable beds, warm textiles, and a peaceful atmosphere that encourages presence over excess.

“The space was perfection, and Lauren created the most blissful experience for everyone. Unique and deeply relaxing, the electronic detox (which was honestly uncomfortable at first—not gonna lie!) felt foreign for many of us, but ended up being an unexpected gift. It allowed us to truly be present and connect with each other honestly, right in the now. It felt like being held in a nourishing nature bubble—each of us arriving needing something different, yet leaving feeling profoundly connected and having gained something precious.
I know it made an indelible difference in my life, and I hope you are able to experience this extremely special retreat too. In a time where turning down the noise in the world around us is so hard to do and yet so vital to our sanity and health, I couldn’t recommend this more highly.”
-Tisa, 2025 & 2026 Retreat Guest
Why retreat with me?
I’ve been teaching yoga for ten years and movement for twenty, and nothing lights me up more than being in nature, slowing down, and meditating and moving with good company. These retreats are simply a wider, more intentional version of that ritual.
I create a container where you can be fully yourself, a space to feel what’s true for you right now, to soften into reflection, and to connect in ways that genuinely nourish. It’s my honor, and truly my joy, to hold that space for you.

This retreat is an opportunity for us to disconnect from devices and productivity so that we can connect to something deeper in ourselves and each other. You are encouraged to put your phone away for the whole weekend. Limited cell phone service in the area will drain your battery anyhow. There is no electricity on site (with the exception of the geodesic domes). Headlamps are provided, and morning bells will serve as an alarm clock, though some folks choose to put their phone in airplane mode and use that for their morning alarm.
-
We’ll send a detailed packing list after you register, but plan to bring comfortable layers for movement and rest, sturdy shoes or boots for nature walks, your yoga mat, and any personal items you need. Nights may be chilly, so a warm jacket, beanie and cozy socks are recommended!
-
There are two flushing toilets and two propane-heated showers at the top of the valley, and an additional shower toilet a short walk from the valley. Shower towels are provided.
